St Pirans Stud mare care 2009 2010 terms and conditions nffr

- £100 non refundable deposit payable on booking (Returning
mares will have already paid in full). Remaining stud fee due
on arrival, the outstanding livery bill for covering period to be
settled in full prior to departure of mare.

- All mares must be wormed 48 hrs prior to arrival.

- All mares must be presented at stud with a clean swab
certificate for CEM, Klebsiella and Pseudmonas ALSO EVA
tested.

- Shoes should also be removed prior to arrival.

- The Stud reserves the right to call the vet out if it deemed
necessary, cost to be covered by owner.

- Mares to be presented at stud with passport. Older mares may
be subject to additional conditions - please ask if your mare is
over 15 years old.

- Owner visits by arrangement with Stud.

Livery Charges
- Grass only £5.50 per day
- Full livery £15.00 per day.
If rugging is required add £1/ day.
Foals at foot add £0.50 & £1.00 respectively per day for
grass/full livery.

Vet Fees (Pay-As-You-Go)
All mares will receive
- a scan on arrival to assess reproductive system and estimate
the point of cycle.
- a 15 day scan after each cycle of covering to scan for twins
- a final pregnancy scan
Pay as you go - you will be billed monthly by Rosevean
Veterinary Surgery for all veterinary costs incurred.
All owners must agree to mares receiving sedation, oestromation
or hold injections as deemed necessary by the vet. We will
endeavor to keep this cost as low as possible.

NFFR 1st Oct. Terms.
- The stud reserves the right to refuse NFFR to mares which
demonstrate unreasonable aggressive behaviour to the stallion.
- Aggressive mares may be returned uncovered, stud fee will not be
refunded, livery costs are due prior to departure.
- If the stud is unable to catch a mare in foal by Oct. 1st, livery costs to
that date will apply. If the owner wishes to take NFFR and hold
2011-12 stud fee price full stud fee must be retained by the stud.
- This will class as the free return, no more shall be due.
- If the owner wishes to claim NFFR, a certificate must be provided by a
veterinary surgeon stating that the mare is not in foal on October 1st.
- 1 free return only in all cases, livery costs apply.
- Returning mares must have a valid swab & EVA certificate for the
current year.
- Those opting for AI must agree to the terms specific for AI
