NEW FOR 2008
This year we have decided to branch
out in a very small way and start a
Shetland Pony breeding program
Our Shetland mare Gwelanmor
Fairytale 'FT' for short, has prooved
herself to be the best pony a kid could
wish for. When they decided they
wanted to put FT in foal, we decided to
support them and create them their
own mini breed stud.
Fairytale has been off to Zennor
shetland pony stud and our chosen
stallion was Zennor Drizzle, a very
handsome young man with super
bloodlines. So we are hoping for a
little Shetland filly in 2009 to add to the
breeding program in future years.
Whilst at stud we met Zennor Tiger
Tim, a fabulous three year old stallion
looking for a stud - so he has come as
our foundation stallion in the Shetland
part of St Piran's Stud.
Tiger Tim is going to be taught
classical dressage from the long rein
and in the future we hope he will form
part of events that we put on.
Tiger Tim and Fairytale share the
same sire - Moorfield Beechnut, who is
responsible for countless sucessful
Shetlands. So we intend to try and
stamp his genes with a line breed.
