| Stallion at Stud, Perranuthnoe, Cornwall UK Bierzo Panadero XV x Vinatera VIII Bierzo is a 16.2 hh grey, 8 years old, Purebred Spanish stallion. He is graded for reproduction with the State Spanish Stud book. He was bred by the renowned stud Yeguada Susaeta (owners of advanced national dressage stallion Oficial XXIX) He has superb Candau, Miura & Alvaro Domecq bloodlines. Both his sire and dam are inscribed in the 'Who's Who of the Andalusian Horse'. Bierzo shares the same lineage as Spain's 2004 Olympic stallion 'Invasor', they are related via grand dam Panadera V and are cousin to each other. Temperament Bierzo has a wonderful temperament, he is a gentle and sensitive horse. During covering he is kind with the mares and can be ridden in paddocks next to where he has covered only minutes later. He lives in with his mares in winter Movement Spectacular to watch, he shows incredible suspension and elevation in his movement. His extension work is developing and we still have more to capture. Top quality straight movement. Conformation A stunningly beautiful example of the Spanish Horse Performance Bierzo is working towards advanced medium level. He is fully established in his lateral work up to canter, is starting pirouettes and changes. He has been rated as being a horse with top level jumping potential by a local Grade A show jumper Stephen Williams. He is a horse with the potential to jump 1m 60cm, and is currently jumping 1m 20cm. 2010 will see Bierzo affiliate onto BSJA show jumping circuit.
